Launched in 2000, Groupe KARAVEL is now the French leader in online travel sales through its two flagship brands: PROMOVACANCES, a specialist in great deals based in the heart of Paris, and FRAM, a Toulouse-based tourism icon known for its Framissima and Jumbo labels. Chief of Staff to the CFO (Chef de Projet Transverse)

As part of the Group's significant growth, we are recruiting a Chief of Staff to the CFO.

Function

Reporting to the Group's Chief Financial Officer, our future Chief of Staff will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of projects related to operations and finance, including process improvement/modification (e.g., securing financial flows, outsourcing/offshoring certain functions), business development (e.g., increasing conversion rates for insurance products, implementing new payment methods), and IT projects (e.g., automation for back-office functions, improving information systems).

Skills and Requirements

For each project, the main challenges include:

  • Conducting an initial assessment before project launch
  • Understanding the problem that led to the project’s initiation
  • Describing the current functioning
  • Explaining the future functioning and how it addresses the underlying issue
  • Estimating the expected financial impact
  • Drafting the needs assessment to clarify expectations from various departments
  • Proposing a preliminary schedule, including deadlines, key contributors, and their respective actions (RACI)
  • Establishing project governance
  • Defining key KPIs to track the project’s impact and success
  • Implementing action plans in case of project delays
  • Leading and managing the change introduced by the projects

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting or within an Operations/Project/Transformation Management role is an advantage.
