SHAPE THE FUTURE OF PRIVACY WITH USERCENTRICS

We Follow Our Company Vision

Usercentrics is a global leader in the field of consent management platforms (CMP). We follow our company vision to build a world where user privacy enables a thriving digital ecosystem. Our mission is to provide privacy solutions that empower organizations to embrace data privacy while building trust with their users through freedom of choice. With our product, businesses can collect, manage and document user consents on websites and apps, and achieve full compliance in accordance with global privacy regulations while facilitating high consent rates and building trust with their customers.

About the Chief of Staff Role

The Chief of Staff will work directly with the CEO (in fact - almost serving as an extension of the CEO) and will be a partner to the CXX team in strategic planning, goal-setting, and operational initiatives. This will involve leading high-priority cross-functional projects while ensuring alignment and accountability across the broader organisation. This will also involve collaborating with executives to design and implement processes that will enable our business to scale effectively, and serve as a liaison between the CEO and various stakeholders (and liaison is very much a key word here!).

Your Tasks

Project Management

• Consistently delivers outcomes with little oversight, and leverages influence across the organisation to garner support for these initiatives.

• A self-starter who is quick to translate ideas into phased action plans, set objectives, and see these objectives through to completion.

• Exceptional at juggling competing priorities, particularly across a number of mission-critical, multifaceted, and ongoing initiatives.

• Help keep everything organised and make sure different parts of the company are working together smoothly. This involves coordinating meetings, projects, and communications.

Communication

• Excellent EQ, demonstrating self-reflection and self-awareness.

• Employs best in class written, verbal and interpersonal skills to build buy-in from colleagues with diverse personalities and skill sets.

• Capable of developing and delivering compelling presentations, and running efficient and productive meetings, regardless of format or audience.

Business Acumen & Analytical Skills

• Strategic insight with a strong pulse for dynamic market movements and the ability to contribute to company-wide strategic planning.

• Able to make sound decisions and demonstrate good business judgement when faced with ambiguity, and able to create clarity and structure for the team where there is none.

• Data driven and able to “go deep” on an analytical challenge when necessary, but also understand when to apply the 80/20 rule to find a satisfactory solution.

Self-Motivated

• Demonstrates a “whatever it takes” attitude to deliver desired outcomes, understanding that no task is too small to accomplish our mission.

• Feels responsibility and ownership over the company's success (when you own a task, everyone knows it will get done).

• Intellectually curious, hungry to learn, and motivated by challenges that are large and unfamiliar.

You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in consulting or investing and/or demonstrated success in operations, or growth for a high-growth start-up;

• Willingness to travel, at the very least across our offices (to represent the CEO when needed);

• Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams;

• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of driving business growth and profitability;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, analyse market trends, and make data-driven decisions;

• Prior Chief of Staff experience preferred, not required;

• B2B Software/SaaS Experience preferred, not required;

• Data privacy experience is not required, but a passion for this space makes a difference!
