Chief of Staff

Element is seeking an experienced, highly dynamic, and organized Chief of Staff to support the Aerospace & Energy Business Unit.

The Chief of Staff will serve as an internal strategy consultant and thought partner dedicated to improving the profitability of the business by maximizing efficiencies within the organization. There will be consistent focus on managing and optimizing processes, systems, and workflows as the business continues to scale and grow. The Chief of Staff will report directly to the Business Unit Vice President and will collaborate closely with Division Directors, Safety, Quality, Commercial, Finance, and HR leaders.

Responsibilities

Act as a key thought partner, navigating complex challenges and identifying solutions

Ability to lead strategic initiatives, both large- and small-scale projects, from conception through execution

Lead efforts to streamline, enhance, and implement processes with cross-functional teams and ensuring that they align with the business objectives

Assist the VP in identifying and managing critical projects to ensure timely delivery and successful outcomes

Facilitate effective communications between the Business Unit VP and other members of the leadership team

Ability to create and deliver high-impact executive presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Provide communications support; draft emails, memos, presentations, internal and external communications, and/or social media posts

Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree in business administration or related field preferred

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as Chief of Staff or similar role.

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong understanding of business functions including commercial, marketing, operations, finance, and HR

Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders across all levels of the organization

Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change

Proven experience in process improvement and project management
