Company Description

Tono is pioneering the future of specialty medicine, starting with complex medical dermatology. Our subspecialty approach focuses on conditions that require advanced treatments, including chronic inflammatory skin conditions and supportive oncodermatology. Tono’s virtual-first approach enables patients and health systems across the country to access best-in-class specialty care.

Our mission is to transform patients with timely access to expert care. Today, we partner with leading cancer centers, academic medical centers, health systems, and health plans across 25 states. We focus on expanding access to specialty and subspecialty doctors, ensuring that more patients benefit from advanced, proven treatments and the transformative power of modern medicine.

Our team joined us from top companies including Apple, Twitter, and Amazon, bringing a wealth of expertise in technology, operations, and product development. Our doctors trained and worked at some of the nation’s leading institutions, including Columbia, Einstein, Harvard, Mount Sinai, and Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK). Together, we’re building a company at the intersection of medicine and technology to unlock new possibilities.
