Job Description

As Eliq's Chief of Staff / Director of Operations, you'll play a critical role in execution, enabling our strategy, bridging team collaborations, and streamlining our communication. The role will partner closely with the CEO and the rest of the leadership team to drive execution across the organisation, spearhead key projects and take on important initiatives. A curiosity to learn, and the ability to communicate across teams, and lead through influence is important as this role will carry out the vision and represent the CEO in the continued growth of the business. This is the perfect role for ambitious, entrepreneurial individuals who desire to join the leadership team of a fast growing startup and develop towards a COO role.

Key Responsibilities

Accountability and Execution

  • Oversee the progress towards OKRs and other goals across the company, ensuring clarity, alignment, and commitment.
  • Rigorously hold the leadership team accountable to their decisions and commitments, ensuring follow-through on key actions and initiatives.
  • Monitor progress of projects and initiatives, intervening when necessary to address roadblocks or accelerate progress.

Special Initiatives

  • Lead and drive special projects, programs, and initiatives that fall outside the purview of regular operational teams but are critical to the company's strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure the seamless execution of these initiatives.

Meeting and Event Management

  • Plan, organize, and run leadership team meetings to ensure productivity and alignment.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of company-wide all hands meetings, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and foster company culture.
  • Coordinate and manage company offsites and board meetings, ensuring all logistics, agendas, and outcomes are handled effectively.

CEO Proxy

  • Act as a representative for the CEO in various situations, from meetings to decision-making scenarios, ensuring the CEO's vision and decisions are communicated and upheld.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of business experience
  • Proven experience in a strategic role, within the tech or SaaS sector from the 5-50M€ growth journey
  • Demonstrated capability in project management and driving large-scale initiatives.
  • Proficiency in OKR or similar performance measurement frameworks.
  • Exceptional organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Vilnius, Lithuania if currently based elsewhere.
