We are seeking a dynamic Chief of Staff to lead Mark43 into its next phase of growth.
Your Impact
As the Chief of Staff reporting to the CEO, you will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and CEO Team, facilitating communication and managing strategic projects across the organization.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Strategic Planning: Own and partner with the CEO and CEO team leaders to drive annual and quarterly planning exercises spanning OKRs, QBRs, companywide cadences, board meetings, and annual operating and financial plans. Manage all preparation and follow-ups for each planning exercise.
- Project Management: Oversee strategic projects on behalf of the CEO and CEO Team, partnering with executives cross functionally to ensure timely and successful execution. Identify blockers and implement solutions as needed.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between the CEO and the organization to ensure clear communication and alignment. Support internal & customer communications, investor relations, and board meeting materials.
- Operational Excellence: Identify and implement processes to maximize operational efficiencies and alignment, incorporating a data driven approach. Analyze business performance and KPIs to inform executive decision-making.
To succeed in the role, you'll be expected to dive into all aspects of Mark43 and public safety technology industry, be comfortable with consistent travel, and develop deep trust with not only our CEO, but our entire senior leadership team so that you can find effective ways to continually optimize our CEO's time and company resources.
You'll manage Executive Team meetings, including, but not limited to, designing the agenda, overseeing prep work, providing insights/analysis to inform strategic conversations and tracking follow-through to increase accountability. You'll also manage prep for board meetings and companywide presentations.
What You Bring
We're looking for a strategic, results-oriented candidate with:
- 10 years of operational, strategy, consulting leadership, or Chief of Staff experience, ideally in technology or enterprise software.
- A proven track record of establishing operational excellence.
- Program management expertise, an ability to drive structure and successfully direct and deliver concurrent projects while minimizing risk to stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to balance a detail-oriented, task-based approach with strategic, long-term objectives.
- A data-driven and strategic mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and simplify complex business challenges.
- Excellent data analysis skills and proficiency with project management tools, extensive experience working with SQL and/or Python strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional, global teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- This will be a Hybrid role working 2-3 days our of our New York or Boston location.
