A great Chief of Staff amplifies the skills and influence of a CEO.

This Chief of Staff role reports directly to the CEO of one of the most visible, promising, and progressive surgical robotics emerging tech company in the industry.

This Cleveland based role will enhance the effectiveness of our executive team by managing critical executive tasks, facilitating strategic initiatives, and serving as an informational bridge within the leadership team. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of executive support tasks that may be highly confidential and sensitive, and will effectively shadow the CEO to increase his bandwidth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an extension of the CEO, facilitating decision-making processes at the executive level.
  • Provide comprehensive executive assistance to the CEO, including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments, completing expense reports, composing and preparing correspondence, and coordinating complex travel plans, itineraries, and agendas.
  • Prepare and edit communications, presentations and other documents designed for internal or external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the agenda and logistics of board meetings and executive sessions and off-sites, and all staff meetings.
  • Manage special projects and execute on key initiatives as directed by the CEO.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of internal communication strategies to enhance transparency and information sharing across the organization.

Required abilities:

  • Demonstrated successful experience in a business management or executive assistant role, with substantial experience managing a wide range of executive tasks and projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills.
