VP | Chief of Staff | Technology | C13 Hybrid
Job Description:
As the Lead Business Analyst, you will work with the Chief of Staff for Technology and the Cross Technology and Business Enablement Services Function supporting the Technology organization to execute on a strategy that enables excellence across Technology. The Lead Business Analyst will support the execution of strategy and plans, utilizing project and program management disciplines, to make the strategy a reality in the everyday operation of Technology.
The Lead Business Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.
Responsibilities:
This job description provides a high-level overview of the principal responsibilities of the role:
- Support in setting the strategic direction and execution of processes and frameworks that support on-going operations and simplification across Technology.
- Execute on special projects owned by the Chief of Staff to Technology and / or the Cross Technology and Business Enablement Services function.
- Partner with business functional areas within Technology and /or key Partners to define, document, and implement standardized processes and procedures to support a mature, repeatable, sustained environment.
- Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly.
- Provide communication support to business functions within Technology ensuring that communications are effective and meet the needs of the organization.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and key partners.
- Execute against multiple contending priorities simultaneously leveraging regimented program and project management fundamentals to set and adhere to clear objectives and timelines.
- Prepare or contribute to presentations and/or execution related information for Senior Leadership, Regulators, Board Members and C-Suite Executives
- Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams.
- Conduct analyses to drive further insights and promote continuous process improvement to best practices for the team.
Critical Competencies & Qualifications:
- 6-10 years’ experience.
- Extremely organized, motivated and a self-starter
- Ability to prioritize is key as is ability to juggle several tasks at once.
- Must work well under pressure whilst, enthusiastic, hard-working, and positive.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions.
- Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge.
- Team player and relationship management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers.
- Desire to improve processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
