Job Summary

The Chief of Staff role will serve as a key partner to the Head of eCommerce Content and Creator Governance, helping to streamline operations, manage key projects, and align the team’s work with the broader organizational goals. This role requires a highly organized, strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of content and creator governance issues.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution: Assist the Head of eCommerce Content and Creator Governance in developing and executing the department's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives.

Project Management: Lead and manage key projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals. For key projects, act as a liaison between the team and other departments (i.e. Legal, PR, Public Policy, etc) ensuring clear communication and collaboration on initiatives.

Executive Support: Provide direct support to the Head of eCommerce Content and Creator Governance, including preparing presentations, conducting research, and drafting communications.

Policy Development: Contribute to the creation and implementation of policies, ensuring they are both effective and scalable.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of SOP writers, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Provide guidance on moderation guidelines, procedures, and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain robust quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and consistent content moderation. Conduct regular audits of moderation decisions, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on moderation activities, highlighting challenges and areas for improvement. Utilize data and analytics to optimize processes and enhance overall content quality.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in trust and safety, risk management, or consulting. Experience working in a tech or online platform company.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues related to eCommerce.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and project management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with trust and safety challenges in digital platforms.

Job Information【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $139650 - $256500 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
