Role Overview
The Chief of Staff to the Founder & CEO is a strategic, high-impact role focused on ensuring operational efficiency, supporting key business functions, and enabling the CEO to drive critical initiatives. As a trusted partner to the CEO, you will be responsible for optimizing internal processes, managing complex projects, and ensuring alignment across the organization. Your role will span strategic execution, operational efficiency, and fostering a high-performance company culture. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to drive organizational growth and success in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Execution & CEO Enablement - Partner with the CEO to drive company-wide strategic initiatives and track their progress and execution. - Act as a sounding board for the CEO, providing research, insights, and decision-making support on critical business challenges. - Prepare presentations, strategic updates, and materials for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board and investors.
Operational Efficiency & Project Management - Optimize internal workflows, decision-making frameworks, and cross-functional processes to ensure organizational alignment and operational excellence. - Oversee key business projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with LiquiDonate’s goals and mission. - Manage and prioritize the CEO’s time and responsibilities, enabling focus on high-priority tasks and initiatives.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Leadership Support - Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams, ensuring smooth execution of projects and organizational alignment. - Provide analytical support and data insights to inform business decisions and drive organizational growth. - Support the CEO in leadership initiatives to cultivate a high-performance, mission-driven culture within LiquiDonate.
Board & Investor Relations - Support the preparation of materials for Board meetings, investor updates, and fundraising activities. - Represent the CEO in key external meetings, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic direction and mission.
Culture & People Leadership - Contribute to shaping and reinforcing the company’s culture, values, and internal communications. - Oversee HR policies and initiatives to ensure alignment with company values and support employee engagement and development.
Qualifications
Experience - 4-10 years of experience in roles such as Chief of Staff, Director of Operations, or executive-level administrative positions in a fast-paced startup environment. - Proven experience supporting C-suite executives or founders, with a focus on strategic execution, project management, and operational efficiency. - Strong experience with data analysis, strategic planning, and problem-solving in a high-growth environment.
Skills & Competencies - Strategic Thinking & Analytical Skills: Ability to think critically, manage multiple high-priority projects, and provide analytical support for decision-making. - Operational Expertise: Skilled in optimizing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring cross-functional alignment. - Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the CEO and manage relationships with senior leaders, stakeholders, and external partners. - Adaptability & Resilience: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities in a high-growth startup setting. - Leadership Support: Ability to serve as a trusted advisor and right-hand person to the CEO, managing both strategic and operational responsibilities.

Compensation
- $80,000 - $120,000 per year plus equity
- 100% employer-paid health insurance premium option for the employee
- 50% paid dental and vision insurance premiums for the employee
