About Us

Join a dynamic and innovative venture-backed company at the intersection of fashion and technology. BNTO (www.bnto.com) is an AI-powered “omni-consumption” subscription platform that personalizes your fashion experience with an innovative approach to new purchases, rentals, and resales.

Powered by ALMA.AI, our proprietary full-stack vertical AI solution, BNTO rethinks fashion’s supply and demand by leveraging real-time inventory data and user behavior to drive smarter decisions—not just around what to offer, but how people can access it and at what price point. By connecting rental, resale, and new purchase options through a unified inventory pool, we dynamically match products with demand in the most efficient and personalized way. This approach allows us to flex inventory across consumption modes, unlock higher profitability, and give consumers ultimate flexibility—all while reducing waste and overproduction.

We are a Series A company in the fashion tech space, backed by industry-leading investors including Notable Capital, Basis Set Ventures, NEA, the AI Fund, and Exor.

About the Role

BNTO is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO across strategic finance, business planning, and cross-functional operations. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants deep exposure to how a modern consumer technology company scales — across product, operations, marketing, and finance.
You’ll lead high-priority initiatives spanning financial modeling, performance tracking, strategic planning, and organizational efficiency — bringing structure to ambiguity and helping turn ideas into action. You’ll serve as a key thought partner to the CEO, a connector across teams, and a force for operational clarity and strategic momentum.
You’ll be working closely with BNTO’s founder and CEO, Sixuan Li — a math major by training with a background in private equity, financial media, and consumer brand building. She previously founded and exited two companies and brings a rare combination of analytical rigor, operational speed, and creative intuition. This role offers the opportunity to work side-by-side with a founder who’s deeply committed to building a category-defining company.
This role is ideal for someone who aspires to become a future CFO, COO, or founder — and wants to be in the room where decisions are made and help shape them.

What You’ll Own

Strategic Finance & Business Planning
Work with the CEO and finance team to build financial models, run scenario planning, and develop operating frameworks that drive strategic decisions.

Performance Dashboards & Reporting
Partner with Ops, Product & Engineering, Growth & Marketing, Merchandising, and Inventory Planning to build dashboards and reporting tools that surface actionable insights and track performance in real time.

Executive Strategy & Communications
Create and deliver clear, data-backed presentations and updates that drive internal alignment and help leadership make informed, high-impact decisions.

Cross-Functional Project Leadership
Lead complex, high-priority initiatives across operations, product, CX, and growth — translating ideas into execution and driving measurable outcomes.

Company Operating Rhythm
Design and manage the cadence of planning cycles, business reviews, and OKRs — ensuring alignment, accountability, and momentum across teams.

Organizational Efficiency & Process Improvement
Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and work with department leads to streamline operations and improve execution across the company.

Leadership Enablement
Partner with the CEO to prioritize initiatives, delegate effectively, and ensure follow-through on key decisions. Facilitate high-leverage leadership meetings and offsites with clear agendas and outcomes.

Special Projects
Own ambiguous, high-impact projects that fall between teams — helping the company move fast on new opportunities and solve problems without clear owners.

Who You Are

  • 5–8+ years of total work experience, with at least 3 years in investment banking or private equity.
  • Deeply analytical, with exceptional financial modeling and data analytics skills.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented — able to bring clarity and structure to fast-moving, ambiguous work.
  • Relentless problem solver with strong ownership and sound judgment — able to figure things out quickly without a playbook.
  • Tech-savvy and resourceful — quick to evaluate, adopt, and operationalize new tools, platforms, and workflows.
  • Strong communicator with excellent writing, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently and driving cross-functional execution.
  • Willing to dive into the weeds — nothing is too small if it moves the business forward.
  • A natural connector — someone who builds trust and alignment across diverse teams.

Bonus Points

  • Academic or professional training in data science, computer science, or AI.
  • Experience in consumer tech, marketplaces, subscription, recommerce or operationally complex businesses, with exposure to high-growth startup environments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity package in a well-funded, high growth company. Compensation is based on a number of relevant factors such as professional experience and related skill sets.
  • Flexible PTO
  • Paid parental leave
  • Top-notch medical, dental and vision coverage
