Chief of Staff
Summary
The Chief of Staff will support the CEO by handling a range of strategic and operational tasks, including executive communication, strategy development, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration. Key responsibilities include preparing and delivering communications (e.g., company updates, client pitches), assisting with strategy formulation, leading critical business projects, and managing relationships between the CEO, senior leadership, and stakeholders.
The role requires 3-5 years of experience in strategy consulting or related fields, strong leadership and project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to analyze complex data. A background in healthcare or health technology is preferred. The position offers potential for future senior leadership opportunities at apree health.
Responsibilities
The Chief of Staff will serve as an extension of the CEO, supporting a wide range of strategic and operational responsibilities. These include:

Executive Communication & CEO Support: The Chief of Staff will ensure that internal and external communications—including company updates (e.g., conference presentations, blog posts, All Hands meetings), client pitches, business reviews, board materials, and other CEO-driven messages—are prepared and delivered at the highest standard. They will also attend meetings and calls on behalf of the CEO, supporting client discussions, internal problem-solving, and other key meetings as a representative of the executive suite.

Strategy Development & Project Execution: In partnership with the CEO and strategy team, the Chief of Staff will assist in the development of apree health’s corporate and product-level strategy, providing feedback and support throughout the process. Additionally, they will lead and oversee special projects critical to the business’s success, ensuring that initiatives are completed on time and aligned with organizational goals.

Communication Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Acting as a liaison between the CEO, senior leadership, and key stakeholders, the Chief of Staff will help coordinate initiatives, manage communications, and ensure smooth collaboration across functions. This includes organizing and leading high-level meetings, ensuring productive discussions, and following up on action items.
Key Skills & Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm is required; experience in banking, corporate strategy, investing, or operations at a fast-growing startup is also valued. Experience in healthcare or health technology is strongly preferred but not required.

Education: An undergraduate degree from a top institution is required; an MBA or equivalent is optional.

Communication: Distinctive written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively across different audiences.

Leadership & Strategy: Strong leadership skills and strategic thinking ability, with a deep understanding of business strategy and the capacity to anticipate future trends. Ability to influence and motivate teams without direct authority.

Compensation: $150k-$218k/annual salary & bonus eligible
