We are looking for a Chief of Staff to join a growing executive search firm, based out of amazing offices in Mayfair. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the business operates efficiently and strategically. Reporting directly to the Partners, you’ll focus on driving internal operations, facilitating strategic initiatives, streamlining workflows, enabling the team to perform at their best, and building the company’s internal capabilities. This includes hiring and managing key roles such as an administrative assistant and recruitment associates to support the business’s continued growth and efficiency. Ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role previously, coming from either a Tech or Professional / Financial Service background.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategic Support
• Act as a trusted adviser to the Partners, providing insights and support on business operations, strategic priorities, and internal challenges
• Collaborate with the Partners to define and implement growth strategies, focusing on team development, operational excellence, and business scalability
• Represent the Partners in internal discussions when required, ensuring alignment on company goals and priorities
• Fulfil an intermediary role between the Partners and the junior team, facilitating communication, resolving conflicts, and ensuring smooth operations
• Manage the Partners' schedules and organise meetings with structured agendas to maintain focus and momentum on key objectives
Operations and Workflow Management
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the team has the tools, processes, and support needed to work effectively
• Implement and maintain systems to optimise recruitment processes, data management, and workflow efficiency
• Manage administrative task
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend solutions to improve productivity
Hiring and Talent Acquisition
• Lead the recruitment process for internal hires, including drafting job descriptions, sourcing candidates, working with recruiters, and coordinating interviews
• Collaborate with the Partners to define the hiring strategy, identify talent gaps, and provide actionable solutions
• Oversee onboarding for new hires, ensuring they are fully integrated into the business and set up for success
Managing Team Members and Development
• Manage recruitment associates, providing mentorship and guidance
• Ensure clear delegation of tasks to administrative staff and associates, to ensure clarity, accountability, and collaboration
• Develop and implement performance review processes
• Manage team meetings, set agendas, and follow up on action items
• Identify opportunities for staff training and development to support growth
Monitoring and Reporting
• Monitor and analyse key metrics
• Create regular performance reports for the Partners
• Ensure accountability by tracking deliverables and deadlines across the team
Internal Culture and Team Building
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture by organising team initiatives, encouraging open communication, and proactively addressing internal challenges
• Reinforce the company’s values, mission, and goals through consistent messaging and team-building efforts

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Exposure to the legal industry or finance/ professional services sector is a strong advantage
