Position Purpose

The Chief of Staff (CoS) is a critical leadership role that bridges the gap between the CEO’s vision and the company’s execution. The CoS collaborates closely with the CEO, executive team, and cross-functional leaders to drive growth and operational excellence. Strong analytic skills and an ability to influence and drive change are foundational to success in this role.

Key Objectives

Lead Strategic Programs to maximize Enterprise Value

  • Lead cross-functional high-impact strategic programs (M&A targets, financial analysis, scaling operations, GTM programs)
  • Work closely with the CEO to align company strategy, goals, and initiatives.
  • Translate high-level vision into actionable plans and drive execution.
  • Monitor progress toward strategic objectives.

Drive Operational Improvement

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify process improvements, streamline workflows, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Delivers new processes and organization structures that support growth and market expansion.

Decision Support

  • Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Conduct research, analyze trends, and present recommendations.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and other departments.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication.
  • Prepare executive communications, presentations, and reports.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, investors, and partners.
  • Represent the CEO in meetings and events.

Culture and Leadership

  • Uphold company values and foster a positive organizational culture.
  • Mentor and develop emerging leaders.

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • MBA from a full-time top-tier program.
  • Demonstrated record of success with 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience, including strategy consulting, investment banking, or an equivalent field.
  • Experience in managing transformation initiatives that involve transformation of services, products, processes, people, or technology.
  • Experience in both process and service development; strong preference for experience in technology or similar field.
  • Demonstrated competency with implementing business processes and activity-based metrics.
  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and strong consensus builder with keen ability to align and rally large teams to achieve critical milestones.
  • Strong business analysis, problem solving skills, and logical mindset.
  • Robust analytical and quantitative skills, as well as attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in a high-pressure, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
  • Executive presence and relationship building skills with all levels of employees, including senior leadership within Salute and client partners.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to influence outcomes at senior levels.
