You will report directly to our co-founder and CEO and work closely with the entire executive leadership team. Your role is amplify the impact of the team by bringing analytical and organizational capabilities to operations that don't have a repeatable process yet. This is not an executive assistant role. It's a leadership role where you will be expected to lead projects that span across teams, ranging from navigating a complex enterprise renewal, to evaluating the effectiveness of a channel or marketing strategy, to drafting investor updates.

This role is ideal for someone who has been a startup founder or early employee or has aspirations of founding a startup in the future.

You will:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, providing counsel on important decisions and initiatives
  • Analyze data to improve decision-making around areas like pricing, marketing spend, software spend and headcount needs
  • Help understand business and financial performance and contextualize it for the team and for our investors by building flash memos, board presentations and internal dashboards
  • Oversee and improve areas like pricing, late-stage sales, revOps, and procurement
  • Help hire other incredible Datapeeps across the organization and assist with People responsibilities (like curating our bi-weekly all hands)
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, developing contingency plans as needed

You have:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in a analytical and operational role
  • Some prior tech startup experience preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Experience building financial models in excel to understand and forecast business performance
  • Experience working with senior executives, boards of directors
  • Understanding of SaaS metrics
  • Experience negotiating contracts ideally in Enterprise sales scenarios or in procurement / vendor negotations

This is a remote job and available to all candidates with work privileges currently residing in the United States.

For candidates residing within the United States, anticipated base compensation is $120,000 - $180,000 USD, along with equity.
