Chief of Staff (CoS)

As Caseware continues to grow and evolve, so do the needs of our Executive team. We’re looking to hire a Chief of Staff (CoS) to work directly with our CEO, Dave Osborne, and the Caseware Executive team. You'll support the Executive team to ensure the quality and timeliness of key reporting and meetings with our Board of Directors and senior leadership across our global business. This role will also include direct day-to-day support of the Executive team in alignment with broader collaboration responsibilities. ❗ In this role, you will be reporting directly to the CEO, with direct support for the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Finance Officer. ❗ This role is open to two locations:

  • Primary: Remote in Boston 🇺🇸
  • Secondary: Hybrid 3 days in Toronto 🇨🇦

Responsibilities

  • Understand the Divisional priorities of the ELT and effectively communicate with the CEO and ELT as applicable and in alignment with CEO priorities.
  • Acts as the liaison between CEO and ELT and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and involvement or decision-making as applicable.
  • Represents the CEO as a proxy, in meetings with internal stakeholders as directed by CEO
  • Document and communicate M&A integration planning, to close collaboration with the Corporate Development team, to enable cross-functional teams to track and communicate progress to the ELT regularly.
  • Build trust among the ELT by establishing new (and improving existing) systems and processes as you proactively become familiar with the ELT and organization
  • Assist with and manage ad hoc projects and events for the ELT as required.
  • Operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leadership areas of responsibility

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years in management consulting role or relevant work experience (e.g. Bain, BCG, McKinsey, Kearney)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to prioritize complex projects and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated strong scheduling, prioritization and travel coordination experience
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft suite of office applications (Word, Docs, Sheets, Excel, etc) and ability to deliver polished presentations with minimal guidance
  • Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of an organization and complete confidentiality, discretion and trustworthiness on all business matters
  • Have a Bachelor's degree and preference to those who have completed an MBA (or equivalent certifications)
