Director of Operations

This leadership position is responsible for steering the Operations and Fabrication teams towards achieving unparalleled production efficiency, timeliness, quality in builds and fleet management, tour manager training, safety standards, and cultivating a highly engaged culture that embodies the Lime Media values and behaviors. Additionally, this role will be charged with executing programs that help our Operations and Fabrication employees level-up through development, accountability, and fostering opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities for our shop employees, fleet team, training, shipping/receiving, purchasing, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Efficiency and Timeliness: Oversee and ensure the Production Fabrication and Operations teams meet or exceed efficiency and timeliness targets, facilitating seamless project execution from conception through completion. Implement strategies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and ensure that project deadlines are met consistently.
  • Quality Assurance: Set and uphold high-quality standards for all Lime Media builds, fleet management, and tour manager training programs. Monitor compliance with safety regulations and procedures to maintain an outstanding record of safety and quality across all projects and operations.
  • Culture and Engagement: Lead by example to establish a culture of high engagement among team members. Promote Lime Media’s core values and behaviors, creating an environment where employees can level-up as top talent, feel valued, motivated, and committed to excellence.
  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to align the Production Fabrication and Operations teams’ goals with the company’s strategic objectives. Provide visionary leadership to adapt to market changes, embrace innovation, and drive continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
  • People Development: Live by our Core Values of Love, Accountability, & Evolution and work to ensure employees can improve and grow through modeling them.
  • Safety Conscious: Build first-in-class safety standards across all operations.

Management Responsibilities

  • Direct leadership over the Operations and Fabrication teams.
  • Foster a team environment that encourages personal and professional growth, aligning with the “Lime Media Way.”
  • Build a reputation for Lime as a top talent "magnet."
  • Oversee budget, resource allocation, scheduling, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Lead, manage, recruit, develop, and train world-class Fabrication and Operations teams, establishing clear communication, expectations, and feedback mechanisms.

  • Production Efficiency & Timeliness – Develop and implement strategies to achieve production efficiency, timeliness, and quality goals.
  • Quality Standardizations – Set and maintain high-quality standards for builds, fleet management, and safety.
  • Recruit/Build Amazing Talent – High levels of employee engagement and adherence to Lime Media’s values/behaviors, training tools & programs, and people development.
  • Leadership – Servant leadership and high accountability management of the teams towards achieving Lime Media’s strategic goals.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage dynamic teams in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Deep commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Education And Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in production, operations, or a related field with a significant track record of managing teams, achieving operational excellence, and scaling in a highly custom fabrication environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant experience in asset of facilities management, fabrication, and team leadership is highly valued.
