Compensation: $135K - $160K + Equity

Location: Mountain View, CA, US

The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in supporting our CEO through our company's rapid growth, ensuring strategic alignment and efficiency as we scale. This role is designed to enhance the CEO's ability to focus on strategic priorities by providing comprehensive operational and administrative support. This role offers the unique opportunity to learn about all aspects of our business and actively contribute as we scale 10x.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up: Assist with meeting planning including developing agendas and presentations in collaboration with internal business functions (e.g. Finance, People). Prepare the CEO for meetings and follow up on action points that arise.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal departments as the company scales, ensuring transparency and open lines of communication. Draft correspondence on behalf of the CEO and identify any urgent matters that require the CEO’s attention.
  • Content Development: Craft compelling and visually engaging communication materials to effectively convey ideas and projects to relevant stakeholders.
  • Calendar Management: Manage the CEO’s calendar with a focus on scheduling preferences and resolving conflicts with constant change, while keeping the CEO and others informed of last-minute schedule changes.
  • Travel & Team Events: Assist in organization and execution of team offsites. Complete travel arrangements for the CEO including bookings, conference registrations, etc.
  • Project Management: Lead special projects and ensure they are completed on time and within scope.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3-5+ years of experience in consulting, finance, business strategy, or operations. Prior startup experience is a plus.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly adaptable. Ability to flex and pivot quickly based on priority changes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to get hands-on. We're an early-stage startup, so there is a lot of essential, yet not always glamorous, work to be done.
