The Job Description

We are looking for a Chief of Staff for our client, a denim powerhouse in NYC. The Chief of Staff will manage all financial and administrative activities in the organization, acting as a point of contact between top management and stakeholders and providing insight into the most essential projects. This person will prioritize and coordinate critical issues and find essential information that is pertinent for the Chief Executive Officer to have in order to make good business decisions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Support the CEO toward streamlined operations and organizational growth in line with the mission and vision
  • Serve as primary point of connectivity across functional areas, such as strategic planning, products and programs, finance, resources, and administration
  • Engage stakeholders in service of the organization’s mission, inclusive of staff, contractors, and external organizations, including current and prospective partners
  • Ensure fiscally responsible financial and resource management, reporting to and aligning with the CEO on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and execute operational plans and programs to achieve growth goals
  • Strengthen existing relationships with external stakeholders and support outreach toward new partnerships and relationships
  • Develop, implement, and improve systems for budgeting, tracking, measurement, and financial management, and resource management
  • Ensure data-informed, consistent and cohesive communication with the CEO in partnership toward achieving organizational goals
  • Support recruitment and development of best-in-class team

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree required, MBA is preferred
  • 10+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience in roles such as product management, operations, marketing operations, business development or sales operations
  • Successful track record of collaborating and building relationships with stakeholders across all levels functions, and backgrounds within a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience initiating, managing, and optimizing projects from start to completion

Salary Range: $200-250k
