About the role:

The Inside Sales and Account Development Representative (ADR) Sales Operations and Strategy teams are looking for curious, motivated, and high-impact team members to join the Inside Sales and ADR Sales Operations & Strategy team. Our team’s mandate is to increase revenue growth through pipeline creation and sales efficiency of the Inside Sales and ADR teams. We are a highly collaborative team that partners with sales leaders and cross-functionally to realize growing revenue targets, scale the organization sustainably, and address GTM challenges and opportunities.

We are a team that seeks to have an outsized impact on Samsara and we achieve that ambition through rigorous and ongoing skill development.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, and countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper-growth environment.
  • You’re energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-caliber team that will encourage you to do your best.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze and diagnose sales team performance and own analytical models and sources of insights (performance forecasting, productivity models, etc)
  • Support quarterly business activities and development of executive materials (memos, sales kickoff slides, business reviews, and executive presentations)
  • Develop and drive initiatives to help scale business segments to achieve sales growth targets
  • Guide sales leaders through analysis of business opportunities and challenges, then lead execution
  • Identify risks to growth goals and develop action plans to mitigate those risks
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 2-5 years of experience in analytical roles (e.g., Consulting, Business Operations, Sales Operations, etc.)
  • Kind and collaborative orientation who is energized by working with a lot of different types of people from many teams (sense of humor is a big plus)
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple projects on a tight deadline
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
  • Deep comfort with analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Google Sheets, BigQuery) and/or willingness to expand skill set to tackle new problems
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiastic about improving efficiencies to increase sales

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Insatiable drive and commitment to personal growth
  • Ability to build strong relationships with executives (EVP of Sales, Sales VPs, Sales Directors) and cross-functional partners
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and honesty because we love to debate ideas. Losing a debate to a good argument is as exciting as winning one with a good argument
